Communications Manager, Singapore

Meta is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to lead our communications efforts in Singapore. They will have an understanding of the media landscape, experience in consumer, policy/issues, B2B and product communications. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of the digital industry and has vast experience in developing and executing high-profile communications and content-first initiatives. The successful candidate needs to be strategic, thrive in a high-demanding environment, and work on a number of projects simultaneously. This is a full-time in-office role based in our Singapore Office.

Communications Manager, Singapore Responsibilities
  1. Developing and executing comprehensive communications plans to support Meta's product, business, policy, and consumer efforts.
  2. Creating and executing content-first and social strategies across Meta's social and content channels.
  3. Providing strategic counsel and rapid response to complex crises and issues.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including policy, product, monetization, and international Communications teams, to manage media opportunities and broader programs.
  5. Identifying and pitching compelling press stories to mainstream, consumer, and advertising trade media.
  6. Preparing briefing materials and supporting executive spokespeople during media interviews and industry events.
  7. Educating press, bloggers, and creators about Meta, its products, and initiatives.
  8. Managing agency partnerships to drive successful outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 8+ years of professional experience in communications, with a mix of agency and in-house experience preferred.
  2. Existing relationships with press in Singapore.
  3. Proven expertise in developing and executing communications strategies that drive results.
  4. Team player with persuasive and decision-making skills, with a track record of thriving in a high-demanding environment and working on a number of projects simultaneously.
  5. Experience in managing PR agencies.
