Who We Are Looking For?

As a Warehouse Assistant, he/she will support e-commerce warehouse operations by managing picking, replenishment, and order handover processes in collaboration with Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems.  

What awaits you:

1. AMR Station Operations

  • Operate and monitor AMR picking and put-away stations.
  • Accurately pick items presented by robots based on system instructions.
  • Scan and confirm picks using handheld or fixed scanners.
  • Perform visual checks for item quality, quantity, and SKU match.

2. Replenishment & Inventory Handling

  • Replenish inventory into totes or racks as required by AMR task queues.
  • Ensure correct SKU-to-location mapping and follow FIFO/FEFO logic.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and report discrepancies or stock damage.

3. Outbound Order Processing

  • Sort, pack, and label picked items for last-mile dispatch.
  • Prepare completed orders for handover to courier or internal delivery team.
  • Ensure packing accuracy, proper wrapping, and correct documentation.

4. AMR System & Exception Handling

  • Monitor AMR traffic and report any route blockages or errors.
  • Escalate robotic or tote jams to the AMR technician or system controller.
  • Support exception handling such as item mismatch, short-picks, or urgent manual picking.
  • Use system dashboards (WMS/AMR UI) to review and manage order status.

5. Safety, Cleanliness & Compliance

  • Adhere strictly to AMR operational safety zones and walk paths.
  • Maintain cleanliness at robot workstations and tote handling areas.
  • Follow warehouse SOPs and contribute to 5S initiatives.
  • Wear required PPE and operate tools/equipment (e.g., trolleys, handheld scanners) safely.

6. Cross-functional Support

  • Support urgent orders via manual picking station (if applicable).
  • Assist in receiving, returns handling, and restocking as needed.
  • Participate in shift handovers and team briefings.

Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

  • Experience in e-commerce or fast-paced fulfilment environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with AMR systems, WMS, or pick-to-light interfaces is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail, fast learner, and physically fit.
  • Comfortable working alongside robots in a technology-driven warehouse.
  • Willing to work in shifts and adapt to evolving operational needs.
