Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of Safety & Health (S&H) policies, practices, and procedures across the Company's operations, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and review Company S&H procedures and programs.
  • Monitor new legislation relating to safety and health standards, and facilitate timely updates or changes to Company practices.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities (MOM, NEA, PUB, etc.) on all Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) matters.
  • Lead and guide location safety personnel on WSH programs, practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive measures.
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans for Company sites.
  • Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control activities.
  • Ensure effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 & ISO
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and other applicable WSH requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and safe practices across all work activities.

Requirements

  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM.
  • Possession of Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) qualification will be an added advantage.
