About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at Right Construction Pte Ltd. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of various construction projects, playing a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality infrastructure. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects while contributing to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting site surveys, soil investigations, and feasibility assessments to inform the design process
  • Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects
  • Coordinating with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of construction plans
  • Monitoring and supervising construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the construction phase
  • Providing technical support and guidance to construction workers and subcontractors
  • Preparing progress reports and documentation for project stakeholders
  • Performing any other relevant duties assigned by the direct manager or management, including ad-hoc tasks or projects deemed necessary for business continuity or operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil/structural engineering industry, preferably in the construction sector
  • Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, ETABS, and SAP2000
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
