About the role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Clinic Assistant to join our growing team at the Somerset Imaging Centre in the Orchard Central Region. As a full-time Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our natural therapies and alternative medicine clinic.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our clinic
  • Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling administrative tasks
  • Assisting clinicians with patient consultations, treatments, and procedures as needed
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked clinic environment
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns
  • Supporting the overall operations of the clinic to enhance the patient experience

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare administrative role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and patient record-keeping
  • A genuine interest in natural therapies and alternative medicine
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of our clinic and patients
