ShipBroker Trainee

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior or Trainee Shipbroker to join our Tanker Clean Department, focusing on CPP LR (Clean Petroleum Product Long Range) business in the Far East region. The role will also involve supporting CPP activities across other trade segments, specifically covering cargo movements between Singapore and Japan.

• Support the Tanker Clean team in day-to-day broking activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, charterers, and traders
• Conduct market research and gather cargo and vessel intelligence
• Assist in negotiating and fixing spot and term charters
• Prepare post-fixture documentation and follow up on operational matters
• Monitor market movements and provide timely updates to the team
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of charters

• 0–5 years of relevant experience in maritime, shipping, or logistics
• Fresh graduates with a background in marine studies, shipping, or logistics are welcome
• Strong interest in the tanker market and commercial shipping
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic business tools

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Business, or related fields
• Knowledge of tanker operations or chartering is a plus
