Job Description

Corporate Secretarial Functions:

  • Prepare members' and directors' resolutions, and handle statutory filings with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).

Bookkeeping and Payroll Functions:

  • Responsible for performing bookkeeping and preparing a full set of accounts.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare necessary accounting schedules.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely submission of CPF contributions, as well as IR8A and IR21 forms for clients.

Unaudited Financial Statement Functions:

  • Prepare unaudited financial statements in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Possess working knowledge of the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).

Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Corporate Income Tax Functions:

  • Compile necessary data and prepare quarterly GST returns.
  • Perform tax computations, prepare and file corporate income tax returns, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Singapore's corporate income tax framework and GST regulations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and proactively manage client communications, providing updates on the progress of services rendered.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments and additional responsibilities as delegated by the Manager or Director.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience in handling the full set of accounts.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero; familiarity with other platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB) is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid working knowledge of other MS Office applications (Word, Outlook).
  • Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and GST compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.
