Automation Engineer (Siemens PLC / HMI / SCADA)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical specifications and define project scope for contractors.
  • Handle machine start-up, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Prepare and maintain Single Line Diagrams, control schematics, and PLC/HMI programming.
  • Ensure smooth and timely execution of automation projects.
  • Provide technical support and coordination to the installation team.
  • Be prepared to travel and participate in overseas assignments when required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or ITE qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Siemens PLC and WinCC systems.
  • Familiarity with control panel design, control schematics, and motor control systems.
  • Ability to prepare material take-offs and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple challenging tasks while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to take full ownership of assigned projects.
