Junior Network Engineer (Full Time)

Job Description:

  • Monitor and maintain Cisco based core and access networks.
  • Install, configure and maintain network devices. Products include Cisco (Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks).
  • Maintain network centric security systems and its modules.
  • Maintain and update network diagrams and documentations.
  • Handle escalations of network requests from the Service Desk.
  • Work with other IT teams to troubleshoot service abnormality.
  • Plan and execute cehanges according to the change management procedures.
  • Collaborate with the global network team to perform system upgrades and patching regularly.
  • Assist Infrastructure managers and produce reports in response to periodic reviews and audits.
  • Plan and perform disaster recovery tasks as a continual exercise.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in implementing & administrating network devices (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, WLC, WAF, Load balancers, Cable patching, Racks).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, virtualized infrastructure, storage and database.
  • Exposure to firewalls/IPS/IDS/Proxy/Monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge on cloud & network automation will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willing to learn and work in a team.
