We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our technology team within a leading banking institution. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, API design, middleware integration, and cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of banking systems and regulatory environments. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that align with the bank's digital transformation and cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end architecture for banking applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business goals.
  • Lead the development of scalable microservices and APIs using Java and modern integration patterns.
  • Define and implement middleware strategies for seamless communication between distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud-native architectures and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for banking workloads.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards in all solution designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and support teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, and risk analysis for critical banking systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong background in Java, Microservices development.
  • Proven experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and middleware solutions.
  • Solid understanding of banking systems, including core banking, payments, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, best development practices

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly.
