Events & Marketing Executive (1-Year Contract)

Singapore SUTL Enterprise Full time $40,000 - $80,000 per year

The Events & Marketing Executive will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events and marketing campaigns for the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF). This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support the Supervisor in delivering successful events and marketing initiatives. This is a 1-year contract position, with the possibility of renewal for another year based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing and communication plans for events.
  • Coordinate production of event collaterals, email campaigns, and digital content in collaboration with designers and agencies.
  • Assist in managing event-related website content, email blasts, and ticketing systems.
  • Craft and proofread basic marketing materials, newsletters, and social media captions.
  • Manage and update email databases.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Assist in planning and scheduling social media content on Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.
  • Coordinate contests, posts, and engagement activities to boost online presence.
  • Support content curation, including sourcing photos and videos for campaigns.

Stakeholder & Partner Support

  • Liaise with sponsors, partners, and vendors to gather promotional materials.
  • Be the time keeper to ensure timely deliverables by all parties.
  • Support internal and external communication to keep stakeholders informed.

Public Relations Support

  • Coordinate with PR agency and internal team for timely execution of media activities.
  • Assist in preparing press kits, media lists, and liaising with media for coverage.
  • Help curate images and content for media communications.

Administrative Duties

  • Handle documentation, filing, and preparation of presentations or reports.
  • Assist with billing, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining proper records.

Events Coordination

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of event logistics, including vendor management, on-site support, and event setup/teardown.
  • Prepare administrative documents such as event timelines, checklists, and reports.
  • Coordinate event merchandise sourcing and procurement.
  • Be present on event days to support smooth execution.
  • Social media postings on event days.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Events Management, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing or events (fresh graduates with internship experience may apply).
  • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Possesses strong team spirit and resourceful.
  • Proficient in MS Office; basic knowledge of design tools (Canva/Photoshop) is a plus.
