Duties:


• Provide design and technical support services for troubleshooting, maintaining and making modifications / additions to the plant Instrumentation/Electrical systems for accurate and reliable operation for the needs of the plant.  

• Primary technical area of responsibility is instrument/Electrical engineering.  

• Responsible for providing safe, environmentally sound and cost-effective solutions.  

• Provide project engineering support for additions to the facilities including design and schedule.  

• As part of Turnaround maintenance team, involve in planning and co-ordinating unit turnarounds to meet all TA KPI.

• Support the ISO and SOX compliance.

• Review and update  PPM program periodically;

• Follow  mechanical integrity of E&I policy 

• Spare parts optimization

• Involve in E&I technician skill improvement 

• Lead RCA of Level A,B and review  level C RCA of E&I activities. Track its action. Provide guidance for level C RCA's continuous improvement  

• Project support to reliability engineers

Required Skills:


• Provide hands-on troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical issues in the plant.

• Develop/improve maintenance processes for ensuring the proper working of the E&I systems in the plant. 

• Maintain and update plant/corporate instrumentation and electrical standards and assure local codes and permitting is executed for all works.

• Define scope; provide detailed engineering design for plant additions and modifications and/or co-ordinate engineering, design and drafting work 

• Demonstrate support for the vision of achieving excellence in safety, health and protection of the environment.

• Demonstrate behavior that advances team-based work concepts by utilizing good communication techniques with all employees.


• Maintain and update plant/corporate Instrumentation/Analyzers standards and assure local codes and permitting is executed for all works.

• Demonstrate behavior that advances team-based work concepts by utilizing good communication techniques with all employees.

• Ability to facilitate or lead team in conducting root cause failure analysis, make recommendations and coordinate the work till completion

• Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills and techniques that accomplish activities through being assertive, able to influence others and engendering trust.

• Demonstrated skill in use of maintenance safe work practices

Qualifications:

  • At least  3 years' experience in refinery or petrochemical plant instrument/electrical maintenance
  • Minimum Diploma  or Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation & Control or Electrical or related engineering discipline
