Detailed Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct weekly in-house meetings with production teams and site meetings with customers or consultants regarding project work-in- progress (including site measurements and reconcile against production drawing).
  • In charge and lead the existing fabrication cum welding team to perform and deliver all projects on time
  • Administrative functions in respect of contractual and technical matters
  • Monitor progress of work and write project reports in English
  • Ensure workplace and site safety
  • Coordinating installation, testing and commissioning of lifting equipment at various stages of project
  • Good quality control on welding and fabrication based on standard code of practice
  • Provide weekly and monthly progress reports and communicate the information to HQ on time and effectively.
  • Control overtime schedule for erection / installation team

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a technical cert in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Candidate with safety certifications preferred (Eg: WSH Level B, Work-At-Height course, Lifting Supervisor Safety course)
  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field is required for this position
  • Must possess a class 3 driving license
