  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or Civil Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, planning, and implementing engineering solutions for pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for MEP or civil engineering projects within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and material submittals.
  • Ensure designs comply with local codes, safety regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and pharmaceutical industry standards.
  • Provide technical support during project execution, troubleshooting, and commissioning phases.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and project scheduling.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design and construction processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in MEP or civil design engineering, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, or cleanroom environments.
  • Knowledge of Singapore building codes, safety regulations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and construction practices.
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or civil infrastructure design for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of validation and qualification processes in pharma projects.
