Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Hardwood Flooring Installer to measure, cut, and install various types of wood flooring in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing flawless results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare subfloors by ensuring they are clean, level, and dry.

  • Measure and mark flooring to determine the best layout and fit.

  • Cut and shape flooring materials to fit around obstacles and into corners using power and hand tools.

  • Install various types of wood flooring (solid, engineered, bamboo) using appropriate methods (nail-down, glue-down, click-lock floating).

  • Install moldings, baseboards, and transitions for a finished look.

  • Sand and refinish existing hardwood floors (a strong plus).

  • Perform repairs on damaged wood floors.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.

  • Interact with clients professionally and address any questions or concerns.

  • Manage time effectively to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience (min. 3-5 years) as a hardwood flooring installer.

  • In-depth knowledge of wood flooring materials, installation techniques, and tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and layouts.

  • Physical stamina and strength to kneel, bend, lift heavy materials (50+ lbs), and work on your feet all day.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Reliable transportation to get to various job sites.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

4 off days monthly, rest days depend on schedule. able to work long hours and late in evenings and weekends

Competitive salary 3k and above

Requirements

Qualifications - diploma or high school diploma

Work experience- at least one year working experience in related fields
