About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Arabic Teacher to join our team at the Arabic Council in the Orchard Central Region. This is a part-time role, providing you with the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments.

As an Arabic Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and inspiring our students, helping them develop a strong foundation in the Arabic language and culture. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in shaping the academic and personal growth of our learners.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering engaging Arabic language lessons for primary-level students
• Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies to cater to the diverse learning needs of your students
• Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and adapting your teaching approach accordingly
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the Arabic language program
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student performance and progress
• Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Arabic Language, Education, or a related field
• Teaching experience, preferably in a primary school setting, but not a must
• Strong command of the Arabic language, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for educating and nurturing young minds
• Familiarity with the local education system and curriculum standards
