The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on mechanics of soft robotics
Collaborate with team members (Research Associates, Project Officers, PhD students), and mentor undergraduate students, visiting scholars and researchers
Conduct modelling, simulation and experimental research on mechanics of soft robotics
Explore applications in the fields of transportation and search and rescue
Requirements:
PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering
Research experiences in mechanics of materials
Good publication record
Proficiency in research design and research collaboration
Good communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English for research work
