About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Interior Designer to join our team at Designworx Interior Consultant Pte Ltd. This is a full-time position based in the Central Region. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional design solutions for our diverse range of clients, contributing to the company's continued success in the industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
  • Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts that meet the client's needs
  • Prepare detailed design plans, including floor plans, 3D renderings, and material selections
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of design projects
  • Monitor and oversee the progress of design projects to ensure they are completed within budget and on time
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality of the finished product
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry regulations in interior design

What we're looking for

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the commercial or residential interior design industry
  • Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and spatial planning
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D MAX
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
