Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile and skilled CNC Machinistwith hands-on experience in CNC Turning and/ or Milling operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines—including Mazak CNC Turning Centers with Fanuc/ Mazatrol controlsand CNC Vertical Milling Machines (up to 5 -axes)—to produce precision components that meet exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup:

  • Set up CNC Turning (Fanuc and Mazatrol) and CNC Milling machines (up to 5 axes) using approved Programs, setup sheets, and tool lists.
  • Verify machine readiness and perform dry runs or simulations when required.

First Piece & In-Process Inspection:

  • Perform First Piece Inspection and obtain Quality Control approval before initiating production.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and adjust offsets to maintain part conformity.

Tool and Offset Management:

  • Monitor tool wear and make necessary tool changes and offset adjustments to ensure consistent machining performance.

Machine Operation:

  • Operate CNC Turning and Milling machines during production runs.
  • Follow work instructions, prioritize safety, and maintain high standards of quality and productivity.

Process Documentation:

  • Record critical process data, inspection results, and production output on provided process sheets or digital systems (ERP).

Preventive Maintenance & Housekeeping:

  • Perform daily machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Report any abnormalities or maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Competent in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, profile projector etc.).
  • Able to understand, read and write simple English
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production setting.
  • Preferably background in aerospace or other high-precision industries.
  • Exposure to AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
