We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented (Senior) Applications Engineer specializing in Diesel Power Generators to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our diesel-powered systems through rigorous testing, validation, and collaboration with the development team. This role plays a vital part in product development — from early design evaluation to final quality assurance — to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of performance and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

A technically skilled and detail-oriented engineer with hands-on experience in diesel power generation systems. They are proactive problem-solvers who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable products. They combine strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of diesel engine operations, performance metrics, and industry standards.

  1. Quality Control and Testing

  2. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans for diesel power generators, ensuring compliance with design and performance specifications.

  3. Conduct and oversee product testing, including performance, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.

  4. Identify, document, and report defects or issues discovered during the testing process.

  5. Collaboration with Development Team

  6. Work closely with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to generator design and performance.

  7. Provide technical support and expertise to cross-functional teams to improve product quality and resolve defects.

  8. Documentation and Reporting

  9. Maintain accurate records of all test results, defect logs, and corrective actions.

  10. Prepare detailed test reports highlighting issues, solutions, and opportunities for improvement.

  11. Product Development Support

  12. Assist in the development of new diesel power generator models by providing input on design improvements and operational efficiency.

  13. Ensure all products are thoroughly tested according to quality standards prior to manufacturing or customer deployment.

  14. Continuous Improvement

  15. Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices in product testing and quality control.

  16. Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to propose innovative solutions for testing and development processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in testing, quality control, or applications engineering, preferably with diesel power generators or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine operations, performance metrics, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, executing tests, and diagnosing technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power generation systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools and test automation software.
  • Certification or specialized training in diesel engine technology or power generation systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, power electronics, and generator control systems.
