Drafting Technician

Job Summary:

The Architectural Drafter is responsible for producing accurate and detailed shop drawings for architectural, interior, and finishing works. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with Singapore project standards and coordination requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, update, and coordinate architectural and interior shop drawings for tiles, stone, joinery, and finishing works.
• Interpret and develop drawings based on design intent, consultant specifications, and site measurements.
• Ensure drawings comply with Singapore regulations, project requirements, and company drafting standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and ensure design accuracy.
• Produce as-built drawings upon completion of works.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project records.
• Review and update drawings based on site conditions, material selections, and design changes.
• Assist project teams in preparing submission and construction drawings as required.

• Diploma or certificate in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in preparing shop drawings for architectural and interior projects in Singapore.
• Strong understanding of tile layout, stone detailing, joinery, and finishing works.
• Familiar with Singapore building codes and project coordination standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
