Coffee Technician

About the role

Cafe Specialists Pte. Ltd.' is seeking an experienced Coffee Technician to join our team in the Woodlands North Region. As a fulltime Coffee Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the performance of our high-quality coffee equipment, ensuring our cafe operations run smoothly and consistently deliver exceptional coffee experiences to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Perform regular maintenance, repair and calibration of all coffee machines and related equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with coffee machines in a timely manner
• Provide technical advice and training to barista staff to ensure proper operation and care of equipment
• Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements
• Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Coffee Technician or in a similar technical role within the coffee/hospitality industry
• Strong working knowledge of espresso machine mechanics, repair and maintenance
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide technical training and support to end-users
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for the coffee industry and commitment to delivering high-quality results
