About the role
Cafe Specialists Pte. Ltd.' is seeking an experienced Coffee Technician to join our team in the Woodlands North Region. As a fulltime Coffee Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the performance of our high-quality coffee equipment, ensuring our cafe operations run smoothly and consistently deliver exceptional coffee experiences to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Perform regular maintenance, repair and calibration of all coffee machines and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with coffee machines in a timely manner
- Provide technical advice and training to barista staff to ensure proper operation and care of equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements
- Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Coffee Technician or in a similar technical role within the coffee/hospitality industry
- Strong working knowledge of espresso machine mechanics, repair and maintenance
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide technical training and support to end-users
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the coffee industry and commitment to delivering high-quality results
