We are looking for a Research Fellow to conduct research on membrane and separation technology for desalination, resource recovery, and decarbonization at NTU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct membrane and separation technology related projects for desalination, decarbonization, resource recovery etc.
- Experimental setup design and construction, experiment design and testing, process modelling, data processing and reporting, progress report preparation, etc.
- Journal paper publication.
- Assistance in research proposal preparation, etc.
- Assistance in mentoring junior students/researchers
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree from a reputable university in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
- Excellent journal paper publication record.
- Proficient oral presentation, report writing and multitasking skills.
- Competent in using membrane technology and separation technologies.
- Relevant research experience on electrochemical processes, electrode synthesis and in scaling up electrochemical water technology will be preferred.
- Relevant research experience in the fabrication/synthesis of RO/NF/ion exchange membranes (IEMs)/organic solvent membranes and/or organic chemical synthesis, and membrane/separation process development will be preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own and in a team.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong responsibility for research.
