As a Biomedical Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Support the development of a personalised health service that integrates clinical, genetic, and microbiome data to deliver individualised health insights.
  • Analyse and interpret multi-omics datasets—including whole genome, metabolomic, and microbiome data—in conjunction with clinical information, to generate actionable insights that inform precision diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.
  • Perform advanced statistical and computational analyses on large-scale biomedical datasets.
  • Interpret complex biological and clinical data, translating findings into scientific insights and clinically relevant applications.
  • Identify and validate biomarkers and/or develop multi-marker diagnostic models for disease detection and prognosis.
  • Integrate omics datasets (genomic, metabolomic, microbiome) to uncover novel health indicators and mechanistic insights.
  • Design, implement, and optimise analytical pipelines for multi-omics data processing and interpretation.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree or PhD.
  • Good understanding of multi-omic data analysis.
