Senior Electrical Engineer

2 year contract role

Salary package: Up to $10, month yearly bonus + project completion bonus

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will uphold high standards of performance and values, validate contributions, and foster cooperative interaction in a respectful and trusting work environment. They will play a key role in the design, construction, and commissioning of a data centre project.

Job Description

  • Execute engineering tasks for the design of electrical systems in data centre facilities.
  • Prepare electrical engineering calculations and deliverables to support system designs when required.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to prepare and develop deliverables, ensuring integration of all inputs.
  • Provide technical input for studies and relevant documentation.
  • Support project execution on-site and act as an electrical specialist.
  • Assist in developing studies and design procedures to deliver cost-effective work packages, including sizing, selection of systems, power diagrams, layouts of equipment, system controls, and related documents.
  • Ensure technical quality and timely issuance of electrical documents and drawings.
  • Raise concerns and propose changes where necessary.
  • Conduct regular discipline meetings, draft action plans, and follow up on their closure.
  • Create and write work packages and scopes of work to support commercial activities.
  • Contribute to project closeout and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification/experience).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical engineering.
  • Professional registration preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with international companies.
  • Familiarity with LEED / BREEAM standards.
  • Experience working in multi-discipline design teams.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Asia (NEA or SEA).
