We're looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist who knows how to make content work harder– someone who can turn product features into irresistible stories, and stories into sales. This role is all about creating content that connects, converts, and keeps our brand top of mind.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the creative engine behind Mopio's e-commerce and campaign content- working closely with our creative and production teams in Singapore and China to deliver visuals, copy, and videos that resonate with our US audience (and beyond).
Your responsibilities will include:
Content Creation: Develop scroll-stopping visuals, videos, and copy for our e-commerce site, marketplaces, and campaign pages- blending SEO best practices with US consumer insights to drive conversions.
Creative Briefing & Collaboration: Translate marketing objectives into clear briefs, and work side-by-side with creative and production teams to bring ideas to life.
Video-First Storytelling: Dream up and deliver short-form videos for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts that capture our brand's playful energy and drive action.
Performance Marketing Alignment: Create and adapt content for Meta, TikTok, Google, and Amazon Ads- built to stop thumbs and boost click-throughs.
Cross-Region Adaptation: Localize messaging and creative for different markets, ensuring cultural fit without losing brand personality.
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate go-to-market launches and seasonal campaigns, ensuring assets roll out on time and on-brand.
Market Insights: Keep a finger on the pulse of home and furniture trends, competitor moves, and seasonal retail moments to inspire content.
Creative Process Optimization: Find faster, smarter ways to produce high-quality creative without sacrificing impact.
Analytics & Reporting: Use performance data to fine-tune creative, learning what makes our audience click, buy, and come back for more.
What you'll need
Experience: Bachelor's degree-holder with a specialisation in Marketing, and 1–3 years' experience in a marketing communications or content marketing role within an in-house marketing team (creative agency background a plus).
E-commerce & Content Expertise: Proven ability to create content that drives results on e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.
Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin (for effective collaboration with China-based teams).
Trend Savvy: Strong awareness of home & interior trends, seasonal retail moments, and consumer behaviour in the US market.
Social Savviness: Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content formats, with the ability to create and adapt content for each channel's unique audience.
Digital Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of paid ad creative requirements and how content impacts performance.
Content Production Skills: Experience briefing and working with creative/production teams; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or video editing tools is a plus.
Creative Agility: Thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment with quick-turn campaigns.
Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to make smart, creative decisions.
Collaborative Spirit: Strong project management skills and the ability to work seamlessly across teams and regions.
