Assistant Facilities Management Manager

Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of in-house Technicians in the daily building M&E operations and repair services to ensure smooth operations and maintenance of the facility
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all building services, including M&E, HVAC, plumbing, security, and fire protection systems, to function effectively
- Responsible as a Fire Safety Manager of a designated building for all fire safety activities, including implementing fire prevention measures, conducting regular checks, and preparing fire emergency plans and exercises
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, security, health, and environmental regulations, and promote a safe work environment
- Ensure all A&A, subdivision, reinstatement, and fit-out works comply with building regulations and codes
- Implement sustainability initiatives/ programmes to optimize the use of resources, utilities, and services to achieve cost savings and sustainability targets, and to meet Green Mark standards
- Prepare and manage operational budgets and capital expenditure (CAPEX)
- Track maintenance works, monitor KPIs, and prepare reports to ensure compliance with performance frameworks
- Any other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Building or Facilities Management or Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical)
- Minimum 5 years of building maintenance role in facilities or property management of commercial sector
- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and codes of practice (e.g., BCA, BMSMA, SCDF, WSH)
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers & airsides), plumbing & sanitary, fire protection systems
- Possess a valid Fire Safety Manager certification
- Strong supervision, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to multi-tasks
- Knowledge of AUTO-CAD will be an advantage
