CloudOps Platform Software Engineer

The CloudOps Platform Engineering Team is at the forefront of ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving technological landscape. By blending software engineering with systems engineering, we build solutions that optimize performance, enhance scalability, and provide seamless user experiences.

*What you'll achieve*

As a CloudOps Platform Software Engineer2, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing solutions that uphold reliability and scalability across diverse platforms. Leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies, you will empower teams to achieve operational excellence.

*You will:*

  • Design and implement highly available and scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and Dynatrace.
  • Oversee database platforms such as RDS, OpenSearch, Kafka, etc. to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Be part of a Primary/Secondary OnCall rotation.
  • Drive automation through custom tool development.

*Essential Requirements*

  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build scalable infrastructure.
  • Hands-on expertise with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
  • Ability to lead incident management and establish proactive scaling solutions for production-grade environments.
  • Ability to code/debug moderately sophisticated programs using design specifications
  • Be part of an oncall schedule for 24/7 coverage

*Desirable Requirements*

  • 2+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
