Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit (or equivalent software) for lift and escalator systems based on project requirements and architectural constraints
- Produce coordinated shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for submission to clients, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure all models and drawings comply with company standards, industry codes, and client specifications
- Collaborate with project engineers, field teams, and main contractors to verify site dimensions and ensure model accuracy
- Coordinate BIM models with other trades (e.g., structural, MEP) to identify and resolve clashes through Navisworks or equivalent clash detection tools
- Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical support related to BIM modeling and drawing production
- Maintain drawing documentation and update revisions throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in developing and maintaining BIM libraries and content specific to the lift and escalator domain
- Support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the drafting and engineering team
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in drafting or BIM coordination, preferably in the lift and escalator or building services industry
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related tools
Strong understanding of construction practices, spatial coordination, and technical drawing standards - Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- High attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiar with 4D,5D and 6D BIM requirements
