Lab Supervisor
- Basic | $4,000 to $5,200 depends on experience
- Work Details | Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
- Location | Yishun
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, including processing, storage, and management of umbilical cord blood, cord tissue units, and lenticules.
- Perform and supervise laboratory procedures in compliance with approved protocols and quality standards.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of client documentation, equipment maintenance logs, QC reports, and EQA results.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to junior lab staff and ensure training records are up to date.
- Plan and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Support inventory management and collaborate closely with the Laboratory Manager and Assistant Laboratory Manager.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience in blood banks, tissue banks, testing, pathology, research, or commercial labs.
- Experience in training, mentoring, and supervising laboratory staff.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Must be Hepatitis B immunized.
