Senior Research Fellow

Role Overview
The Research Fellow will develop and execute health services research ideas, collaborate with healthcare professionals, apply for funding, and mentor junior researchers. A strong background in quantitative data analysis and statistics is preferred. The role will also include administrative duties related to research and general operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct research projects in health services and operational research.
- Prepare and review research papers, present findings, and build collaborative networks.
- Support project management and provide guidance to healthcare worker researchers.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Develop an independent portfolio of research projects.
- Assist Principal Investigator(s) with research grant administration, including variation and extension requests, claims submission, and progress reporting.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department.
*Job Requirements:*
- PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience in medical research preferred.
- Expertise in Health Services Research (HSR) and applied statistics, including study design, data analysis, and outcome evaluation.
- Strong experience in developing and implementing data-driven healthcare solutions, with knowledge of AI methodologies such as machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and execute projects across various health service domains, from conceptualization to implementation, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with practical experience applying machine learning and analytical frameworks to healthcare challenges.
