1-year contract role

Responsibilities:

  • Handle monthly closing activities covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly journals and supporting schedule in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly analysis for management reporting.
  • Assist in GST submissions, filing activities and overall tax compliance.
  • Manage day to day accounts payable.
  • Ensure internal control policies and procedures are in compliance with Company policies and FRS.
  • Identify areas to be improved and initiate good accounting control procedures and best practices to improve work efficiency.
  • Additional ad hoc assignments as required.
  • Responsible for all stores' yearly gross revenue audit.
  • In charge of accounts receivables and operations including tidying up of daily cash sheet and outlet reconciliation .
  • Processing of staff claims/reimbursement.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in handling transactions accounting, financial controls and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in fast-paced retail environment is a plus
  • A team player and meticulous with an eye for details
  • Ability to meet deadlines
