As a project engineer you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management, ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
  • Serve a s a primary, day to day customer point of contact, communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.
  • Work as an extension of the customer's management team and provide contract compliance and fulfilment.
  • Maintains excellence written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.
  • Work with project developers and field organization representatives to meet the deadlines in all related work assigned,
  • Develop detailed water or wastewater treatment system process design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and provide technical support to customers during project tendering such as technical information and clarifications,
  • Prepare commercial & technical proposals with specifications for tender submissions.
  • Review project specification to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or environmental engineering
  • At least 4-5 years of industry experience (Water or Waste water treatment)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project management (eg. project coordination, documentation and planning)
  • Proficient in water / wastewater system process design or equipment sizing (eg. RO projection software)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic & challenging environment
