Step into a leadership role with one of Singapore's established commercial laundry providers. We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Assistant Supervisor to support our daily operations and ensure top-quality service for our customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily laundry operations including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and packing
  • Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and ensure sufficient manpower for each shift
  • Assign tasks and schedule work shifts based on operational needs
  • Inspect finished items to ensure all quality standards are consistently met
  • Oversee proper handling and safe usage of laundry chemicals and equipment
  • Train new employees in laundry procedures, machinery operation, and safety protocols
  • Handle minor equipment repairs or report maintenance issues promptly
  • Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and place orders when needed
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the laundry workspace
  • Uphold hygiene and health regulations in accordance with company policies
  • Communicate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, clients) to coordinate laundry requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in laundry operations or a related role
  • Strong leadership abilities and team management skills
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of laundry machinery
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
