Responsibilities & Duties:

– System Administration: Assist in the administration of servers and systems, including installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and software applications.

– Network Management: Support the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

– Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff for network-related issues, troubleshooting connectivity problems, and ensuring smooth network operations.

– Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance and network traffic, generating reports and alerts for any anomalies or issues that may arise.

– Backup and Recovery: Assist in implementing and managing backup processes for data and systems, ensuring regular backups and facilitating recovery procedures when necessary.

– Security Compliance: Perform necessary security updates to infrastructure and equipment. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

– User Account Management: Support the creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts in accordance with firm policies, ensuring proper access controls.

– Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and any updates or changes made to the infrastructure.

– Collaboration with IT Team: Work closely with other IT team members on projects to enhance infrastructure performance and implement new technologies.

– General Administrative Support: Provide ad-hoc support to the IS Team and end-users, system administration, project setup and other general tasks.

– Routine Tasks: Network Infrastructure and Systems Administration.

– Maintain network connectivity and performance.

– Configure and manage network switches and routers.

– Support VPN and remote access solutions.

– Monitor network traffic and bandwidth.

– Implement network security protocols.

– Assist in firewall configuration.

– Manage firm's on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

– Support Microsoft 365 Infrastructure.

– Maintain Active Directory configurations.

– Implement user access controls.

– Manage system backup and recovery procedures.

– Support virtualization platforms.
