About the role
Soon San Trading Services Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Prime Mover Driver to join our team in the Jurong East West Region. This is a full-time role that will involve the transportation of goods across Singapore using a prime mover vehicle.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operating a prime mover vehicle to transport goods and materials to various locations across Singapore
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and well-maintained
- Adhering to all traffic laws, regulations and company safety policies
- Maintaining accurate records of driving activities, including timesheets and delivery logs
- Assisting with loading and unloading of goods as needed
- Providing excellent customer service to clients
What we're looking for
- Valid Class 3, 4 or 5 driving license with a minimum of 2 years' experience driving a prime mover
- Strong knowledge of traffic rules and regulations in Singapore
- Ability to operate and manoeuvre a prime mover vehicle safely and efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading as needed
