Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all M&E construction activities on-site and provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
  • Independently manage construction activities and timelines, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Interpret and apply M&E drawings, specifications, and requirements accurately to site operations.
  • Attend and participate in project kick-off meetings, team meetings, and provide updates on progress to stakeholders.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of site staff, workers, and subcontractors, promoting a fair and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and control of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies in drawings with consultants before progressing with site work.
  • Manage and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Develop and routinely update plans such as the Project Construction Plan, site access plan, hoisting plan, and temporary utilities plan.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures, including on-site and off-site inspections, and oversee pre-handover checks.
  • Verify that approved materials are used, ensuring all specifications, certifications, and documentation are recorded and adhered to.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant experience will have added advantage
  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
