Central Region, Singapore PERSOL Full time $30,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions to ensure timely closure of full sets of accounts (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger).
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Handle daily financial transactions, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and recording transactions in the accounting system.
  • Review accounts receivable aging schedules and ensure reconciliations and collections are executed accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to facilitate timely payments.
  • Assist with annual finance audits and manage associated tasks.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and yearly GST tax returns.
  • Provide necessary support for ad-hoc assignments and other relevant tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Accountancy, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Sage300 software is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaborating within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
