Across all our businesses and countries, each one of our people leaves their mark in shaping society.> We believe that leaving a mark is a true challenge and opportunity for every one of us.> We believe that leaving a mark is a sign of trust and impact.> We believe that leaving a mark is a bond with the future.> We believe that leaving a mark is proof of growth and development.Being part of the BV family, is more than just working, it's being convinced that you will leave your mark... in shaping a world of Trust.Job Description:QUALITYTo develop inspection and testing SOP and reporting templates associated with lifts and escalatorsSafety management of jobs at work sitesTo ensure all installed and inspected lifts and escalators comply with Code of PracticeTo manage inspection team's qualification per BCA's requirement and adhering to ISO17020 accreditationTo ensure inspection and testing tools are well maintained and calibratedOPERATIONSTo oversee the inspection, examination, and testing of lifts and escalators for the application or renewal of a PTOTo conduct statutory examination, inspection and testing of lifts and escalators in accordance with regulations and codes of practice according to schedule and submit prescribed reports and follow up on rectifications by owners/contractorsTo conduct non-statutory lifts and escalators auditsTo conduct investigations of lifts and escalators incidentsTo develop project planning, manage project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget and project meetingsTo coordinate with other departments/divisions in the delivery of equipment, arranging manpower, checking of site work and building construction programDiscuss new lifts and escalators design and layout with architect, consultant, main contractor, client and builderAdvise the consultants on compliance for the code of practice for the installation worksExpansion and qualification of inspection team to meet growing demandsSALESWork closely with Sales Manager in identifying potential L&E clients and managing the business operations, including tender of new projects as well as all authorities related mattersAdvise Sales Manager of any variation works and cost implicationsRequired Skills:Candidate possesses Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalentAccredited LEI under Institution of Engineers will be an advantagePrevious experience in lift inspection field.Join an inclusive, flexible and diverse company where you can thrive while contributing to positively transforming the world we live in.#ShapingaWorldofTrust #leaveyourmark
