Responsibilities

  • Design scalable, secure infrastructure for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
  • Define and uphold architecture standards with clear technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Lead capacity planning, system performance tuning, and high-availability optimization.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and integration processes.
  • Act as the bridge between technical teams, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring clear communication.
  • Evaluate change requests, recommend architectural improvements, and implement zero-trust security frameworks.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years' relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of involvement in large-scale Singapore Government projects.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure technologies (networking, firewalls, virtualization, cloud-native stacks, Linux).
  • Advanced knowledge in enterprise Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE), including secure, air-gapped deployments.
  • Deep proficiency in cloud-native and Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, Rancher, OpenShift), container runtimes, and secure secrets management with KMS solutions (AWS, Azure, HashiCorp, Thales).
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity, IT risk management, security frameworks, and cryptography.
  • Skilled in technical documentation and architectural design (HLD, LLD, diagrams).
