Job's mission

As an Inventory Control Analyst, you'll be part of a global team that ensures our materials and work-in-progress (WIP) inventory are optimized to support production and innovation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, analyze, and manage inventory across ASM's global operations. What you will be working on

  • Support inventory control measures across global sites to meet inventory KPIs and working capital targets
  • Monitor and report inventory levels and components across functions
  • Conduct predictive analysis and proactively mitigate inventory risks
  • Review and manage aging and slow-moving inventory with cross-functional teams
  • Track and resolve aging WIP issues by collaborating with manufacturing and planning teams
  • Support global materials programs aligned with ASM's inventory strategy
  • Execute and report on assigned inventory management actions and projects
  • Contribute as a specialist in inventory control within a global manufacturing environment

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or Supply Chain Management
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA
  • Familiarity with inventory management concepts and optimization strategies
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working with data
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

What sets you apart

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hanna MM and PP modules
  • Understanding of planning and supply chain operations
