This incumbent will design and implement sport & physical wellness programmes and other initiatives to improve the lives of the underprivileged & at-risk children and youth, isolated seniors and/or persons with disabilities and/or special needs in our community in line with Sport Singapore and SportCares vision and mission to change lives through sport.
Roles & Responsibilities :
• Work with key stakeholders to manage the overall design, organisation, implementation & evaluation of the programme to promote inclusivity in the community through shared sporting experiences between persons with and without intellectual disabilities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with new/existing stakeholders in the disability and SPED sectors.
• Develop and report indicators and measures to provide evidence on the effectiveness of the programme.
• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of a structured weekly recreational sports programme for persons with disabilities (PwDs) and special needs, addressing gaps in access post-structured environments and overcoming participation barriers.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with stakeholders in the disability and SPED sectors to enhance programme reach, support, and alignment with SportCares' mission.
• Develop and track key performance indicators to assess programme effectiveness, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement and impact reporting.
• Develop and implement a targeted marketing strategy to promote the Social Service Corporate Membership scheme to Social Service Agencies (SSAs) that serve Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
• Conduct outreach programmes and informational sessions to educate SSAs about the benefits and processes of the scheme.
• Collaborate closely with SSAs to streamline the ActiveSG membership sign-up process for their clients with disabilities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders in the ASG membership team to ensure smooth onboarding and address any specific needs or concerns of SSAs and PwDs.
• Develop and maintain a user-friendly system for bulk membership applications from SSAs.
• Design and implement strategies to encourage group visits to sports centres by SSA members, including creating tailored programmes or events.
• Establish a system to track and analyse the utilisation of facilities through the scheme.
• Monitor programme's financial performance against the annual approved budget allocated.
• Contribute to the annual budget planning cycle in preparation for quarterly, mid and end year reviews as well as projecting for the new FY.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure availability of fund and accurate projection.
• Oversee and supervise Temp and/or interns to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• At least 5 years of proven experience and/ track record in relevant areas, e.g. Sport Science & Management, Social Work / Studies
• Passion for sports and the value of sport to transform lives, especially in the disability sector.
• Good interpersonal skills to manage and lead people of diverse backgrounds and different positions.
• Able to manage and lead people of diverse backgrounds.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated and Independent.
• Good organisational, management and administrative skills.
• Empathetic, care for people and desires to serve the vulnerable segment of society.
• Value teamwork to achieve common goals.
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants' experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
