Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspection of incoming, in-process and final inspection on machined parts, weldments and assemblies as per technical drawings, customer's specifications and requirements through the use of various types of inspection equipment set up.
  • Perform dimension check on parts, components and tools using micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicator, CMM & Faro Arm.
  • Perform visual, mechanical and functional check on components.
  • Report non-compliance parts to QA Engineer.
  • Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing components/parts.
  • Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures.
  • Responsible for conducting inspection in accordance with approved technical data.

REQUIREMENT:

  • GCE 'O' / 'A' Level /NTC /Nitec /Higher Nitec with minimum 4 year working experience
  • Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Management with minimum 2 year working experience.
  • Good interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels.
  • Good understanding of technical drawing.
  • Familiar with all inspection methods and techniques.
  • Basic understanding of General Dimension & Tolerance control.
  • Proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
