About the role

Matrix Math is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to join our tuition centre in the Clementi/Bukit Timah/Bukit Panjang and Jurong East Region. As a Math Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering students to excel in their academic pursuits. What you'll be doing

1. Providing high-quality, personalised math tutoring to students ranging from primary to secondary levels
2. Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans to cater to the diverse learning needs of your students
3. Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to both students and parents
4. Collaborating with the teaching team to share best practices and continuously improve the learning experience
5. Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop a love for mathematics

What we're looking for

1. Strong academic background in mathematics, with a bachelor's degree or above in a related field
2. Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics, preferably in a tuition centre or school setting
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of all ages
4. Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically
5. Flexible schedule and availability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
