Valuer - Pawnshop

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and determine the purity (karat level), weight, and overall condition of gold items.
• Conduct thorough valuations and present competitive offers to customers.
• Verify the authenticity of gold and other valuable items to prevent fraudulent transactions.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns related to valuations in a prompt and professional manner.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Drive sales by identifying opportunities in both retail and pawn transactions, and successfully closing deals.
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to appraisals, record-keeping, and customer service.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient daily operations.
