Endpoint Product Manager

We are seeking a seasoned User-Experience driven Product Engineer for user endpoint (e.g. laptop) for secured whole-of-government infrastructure. You will act as the voice of the customer, leading cross-functional teams to develop and deploy highly usable and innovative products to enhance user experience and work efficiency. If you are being selected, you will be joining us as contract employment (ending on 30 November 2028).

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and lifecycle management

• Own the roadmap for the endpoint infrastructure, prioritize features and create a roadmap for future development, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and creation to launch, maintenance, and eventual retirement, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

User-Centric and preferences

• Analyze customer feedback and identify pain points for product development.
• Redesign or simplifying workflows (e.g., pushing down of changes to endpoint) to minimize errors and fatigue.
• Ensure that products meets security requirements for both end-users and IT administrators.

Technical execution

• Drive the development of solutions with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Translate business needs or problems into clear, actionable functional requirements and technical specifications

Incident handling and reporting

• Ownership of all endpoints related problem tickets and see to the resolution, which will involve collaborating with multiple cross functional teams
• Perform stakeholder management to ensure management oversight of high priority issues
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze product metrics, and provide insights to improve product performance and drive business decisions.

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, and other stakeholders to develop and launch solutions, ensuring seamless execution and user experience.
• Collaborate with various product teams to plan testing, prioritize backlogs, and align schedule for product releases.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager with relevant focus on Windows endpoint, application roll-out, group policies or IT Support and Administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to understand and translate customer needs into technical requirements.
• Knowledge of endpoint machines, networking, Windows OS or desktop support (e.g. SCCM, CompTIA, Fundamentals in Microsoft Security, Compliance or Identity) is required.
• Understanding of Active Directory hardening or group policies is an advantage
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and product development processes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and detail oriented to manage multiple projects effectively.
