Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Risk Management Manager to lead the Company's general management and regional business development functions. The successful candidate will establish, monitor, and enhance the Company's risk management framework to ensure sound governance and compliance with regulatory standards.

This role is based in Singapore and may involve regional travel to support business development and group coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Company's overall risk management framework and related internal control systems.
  • Support general management and regional business development initiatives across Asia.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor market, credit, and operational risks to safeguard the Company's interests.
  • Develop and implement risk control procedures, reporting systems, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide professional advice and risk analysis to the senior management team.
  • Ensure all operations comply with MAS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Attend and work at the Company's Singapore office and travel regionally as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as reasonably required by the Company or its affiliates.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of risk management practices in the financial services or fund management industry.
  • Familiarity with Singapore regulatory frameworks (MAS, SFA, and related guidelines).
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in risk management or financial services, preferably with exposure to fund management, brokerage, or capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of MAS regulatory frameworks and enterprise risk management practices.
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (spoken and written) — these languages are required to communicate effectively with clients, partners, and colleagues across Singapore, and Hong Kong.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Cross-cultural confidence and professionalism, with the ability to work effectively across regional markets.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.
