IT-Infra Internship

DESCRIPTION

Within the IT department (10 people) and reporting to the Infrastructure Manager (Systems and Networks), you will participate in various network and system projects as part of the modernization of the IFS campus infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Carry out integration and production activities on network systems ( ACLs, Installation, Racking and Patching of new equipment, Configuration, Firewall upgrade, Network unification, vendor management)
  

• Administer, operate and maintenance in operational condition of our IT infrastructure (load, capacity, performance and security)
  

• Optimise our monitoring/supervision solutions
  

The technical environment will be diverse:

• Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2022
  

• Virtualization: Hyper-V
  

• Network routers/Switches Aruba, Sophos Firewall
  

INTERN PROFILE

• You are looking for a career in the field of Networks/Telecoms/Systems
  

• You are a student in engineering school or equivalent university
  

• Your English level allows you to be operational in a professional environment
  

• Good interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  

• You are curious and have hands-on experience in network installation, deployment and project management
  

• You show organisational skills, attention to details and enjoy working in a team
