Airfreight Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across all shifts. This role combines hands-on operational tasks with supervisory responsibilities, requiring an individual who can actively contribute while guiding associates toward meeting client expectations and operational KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including packing, stowing, and order processing.
• Oversee forklift and reach truck operations to enhance efficiency; license holders will manage the full scope of warehouse functions.
• Enforce deadlines, ensuring all orders are processed by 1 pm the following day.
• Support a seamless 24/7 warehouse operation, managing flexible morning, night, and graveyard shifts.
• Implement competency-based training and grouping systems to upskill team members.
• Motivate and encourage attendance, particularly on low-attendance days (Mondays and Fridays).
• Coordinate with management on manpower planning, transportation for night shifts, and standby pay arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and oversee provision of required attire (safety boots, uniforms).

Requirements

• Preferably hold a valid forklift license or demonstrate practical forklift/reach truck operating experience.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT competency (Microsoft Office essential).
• ERP system experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on shifts, including weekends and short activation periods (minimum 4-hour commitments).
• Supervisory or team coordination experience in a warehouse/logistics setting preferred.
• Candidates residing in the North area of Singapore will be prioritized.
