AY25/26: Robotics and Machine Intelligence

Key Responsibilities:
A Robotics and Machine Intelligence (AI) Intern at St.Hua will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, prototyping, and implementing intelligent robotic systems for real-world applications.
Specifically, the Intern will (but not limited to):
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and intelligent automation solutions.
- Assist in integrating AI/ML algorithms into embedded or real-time robotics applications.
- Support the development of control systems, sensor data processing, and actuator integration.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies on state-of-the-art robotics technologies and machine intelligence models.
- Troubleshoot and maintain robotic hardware systems and their software components.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of system architectures and engineering specifications.
- Present findings, create reports, and demonstrate project outcomes to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Training Division, on robotics-related course content and evaluations.
- Perform other related tasks as necessary.
Learning Outcomes:
- Gain practical knowledge in robotics engineering, control systems, and machine intelligence.
- Develop experience with hardware-software integration and sensor-based robotics.
- Learn how to apply machine learning models to real-time robotics applications.
- Understand current and emerging trends in intelligent automation across industries.
- Strengthen communication and teamwork skills by collaborating on multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate in Robotics and Machine Intelligence Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
- Experience or interest in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, control systems, and embedded systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in robotics and automation.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday (10:00 - 19:00)
Allowance:
- SGD 1,600 per month

- 5 minute walk from Jurong East MRT.
