Key Responsibilities:

A Robotics and Machine Intelligence (AI) Intern at St.Hua will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, prototyping, and implementing intelligent robotic systems for real-world applications.

Specifically, the Intern will (but not limited to):

  • Participate in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Assist in integrating AI/ML algorithms into embedded or real-time robotics applications.
  • Support the development of control systems, sensor data processing, and actuator integration.
  • Conduct research and feasibility studies on state-of-the-art robotics technologies and machine intelligence models.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain robotic hardware systems and their software components.
  • Contribute to the design and documentation of system architectures and engineering specifications.
  • Present findings, create reports, and demonstrate project outcomes to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Training Division, on robotics-related course content and evaluations.
  • Perform other related tasks as necessary.

  • Develop experience with hardware-software integration and sensor-based robotics.
  • Learn how to apply machine learning models to real-time robotics applications.
  • Understand current and emerging trends in intelligent automation across industries.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate in Robotics and Machine Intelligence Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience or interest in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, control systems, and embedded systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in robotics and automation.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday (10:00 - 19:00)

Allowance:

  • SGD 1,600 per month

Location:

  • 5 minute walk from Jurong East MRT.
